Women's Initiatives Grant Program  

******* 2016 Call for Applications Closes August 15, 2016 ******* 

The Women's Initiatives Grants Program provides one-time funding for special projects that support the cultural, economic, political and social participation of women in society. Special Projects may include, but are not limited to: workshops, conferences, publications, life skills development and support to organizations involved in these activities.

The 18th Legislative Assembly has made the support of initiatives designed to increase the number of women running for elected office in the NWT a priority, and applications that focus on this priority are encouraged.

Funding available: A maximum of $5,000 per application.
